Triculator

Triculator is a tool to calculate the angles and lengths to mark and saw picture frames, designed for triangle and quadrilateral paintings.

Type the length of each side of the painting to frame, and enter the rebate/rabbet in the indent box. The angles and internal (visible) lengths of each side of the painting are shown.

The program was written using Microsoft Visual Basic 6 and supplied here as the plain exe. You will need the Visual Basic 6 Runtime Libraries, so if you don't have them (if Windows complains about a missing library), search online for the Microsoft Visual Basic 6 Runtime Libraries and install those.

Triculator was written in Dec 2010 and not compiled since. I can't update it (Visual Basic 6 hasn't been supported by Windows since 2008), so it is something of a curiosity, but if you need to calculate the angles of a triangle (or parallelogram) and only know the lengths of each side then Triculator is the tool for you.
