Trax

Select your car and attach saws, spikes and other deadly attire before you battle to the death in one of several deadly areas in this 4-player melee.

Trax is a conversion of my Amiga game Burnout and was my first 3D polygon based game, created in the year 2000. It was briefly sold on CD-ROM bundled with Roton and Martian Rover Patrol.

The game was developed for Windows XP-era machines running DirectX 7, but seems to work well enough on my 2024-era Windows 11 machine. This version of Trax, circa year 2000, is provided to play for free 'as is'.

Many aspects of the game, from graphics and controller input, to the gameplay itself, would benefit from an upgrade. I may update and remaster the game one day, but as you can see, this would require a lot of work. If you want a remaster, donate.
