Cycles & Shadows Music Published

Hi Everyone,

Today I've published the sheet music and lyrics booklet for my album Cycles & Shadows.

The album was based on a solo-piano live performance, but lots of very synthetic orchestral instruments were added for the recording, making it a somewhat different experience. The music here is generally the full piano score without the other instruments, and I've included a couple of the slightly different 'live' versions of the music. The second half of the album, Shadows, has words which are generally spoken over the epic and moonlit piano works. The scores for these have particularly odd timings.

A 10-part and 5-part ensemble version of The Flight of the Phoenix is provided. The notes are all there, but sorry that there are no slurs or expression markings on this long piece, but even without them it's a jolly tune. Plus, a string quartet version of The String Quartet at the End of the Universe.

The album was published on CD and download in 2017 by Cornutopia Music and remains on sale.
